Childminders can now avail of advice support information and training from the Westmeath County Childcare Committee.

A Childminding Initiative currently implemented by the Childcare Committee and monies available from the National Childcare Investment Programme 2007- 2013 are now available to support Childminders.

to provide a free support system for Childminders caring for 3 or fewer children
to provide information and training for Childminders
to facilitate the establishment of local networks of such Childminders
to provide advisory visits to Childminders homes
