Profile: I am an Executive and Board member representing Westmeath County Council. The Local Authority is one of the statutory members of the WCCC board along with our HSE partners. I have been asked to sit on the board given my role as social worker for the Council. This role places me in the position of dealing with families who are both applicants and tenants and as such I may have some insight regarding childcare matters. I am also the link person with WCCC staff and my organisation which plays a role in the development of community childcare facilities.
